TUNNEL SENSORS

  • Model: VIPA-L

The VIPA-L long path visibility monitor makes visible opacity measurements to determine the average visibility along the instrument's view path in the surrounding environment such as road, rail, meteorological or other industrial applications. These measurements can be used as part of an air quality management system.more

  • Model: LUMIOS MkIII

The LUMIOS MkIII measures the level of luminance, or brightness, created by natural light at the tunnel portals to ensure that the visual perception of drivers is maintained, both day and night, by avoiding sudden variations in lighting levels and potential “black hole effect” when entering and exiting a tunnel. The LUMIOS MkIII can also be used for the measurement of luminance within the tunnel.more

  • Model: ILLIOS

The ILLIOS measures the level of illuminance within the tunnel bore to ensure interior illumination levels are being continuously maintained, in order to affect safe lighting conditions for drivers. Illuminance, or incident lighting, determines the amount of light that covers a specific surface or area within the tunnel.more

  • Model: VICONOX

The VICONOX tunnel monitor is a single sensor solution for measuring NO2, NO, CO, visibility and temperature within a traffic tunnel, rail tunnel or other confined space. These measurements can be used as part of an air quality management system for ventilation control and/or secondary smoke detection.more

  • Model: AIRFLOW MkII

AIRFLOW is a robust fixed point solution that uses proven ultrasound technology to measure the velocity of air within a tunnel. These measurements can be used as part of an air quality management system for ventilation control within a tunnel or other confined space such as cable tunnels or mining applications.more
